Wet rooms have become increasingly popular over the last decade. This is mostly down to two reasons. The switch to a style of personal hygiene that is not restricted in space and offers a degree of freedom and convenience as the whole room is waterproof. The second driver is that with an aging population the ease of using wet room bathing facilities over traditional facilities is quite clear. Sometimes we are asked to add a wet room and sometimes we are asked to convert a bathroom to a wet room. Constructing a wet room does require some specialist skills not always apparent with traditional bathroom installers.
